Dual Strake Kits

APM, Inc. is now offering STC approved Dual Strakes for the Cessna 400 series aircraft, see aircraft eligibility below. Strake kits are FAA approved and are shipped in a specially designed box including all parts, drawings, and documentation. Strakes must be installed by licensed aviation mechanics. The dual strakes are riveted onto the aircraft surface and reinforced inside the non-pressurized tail section of the aircraft. Each strake is also reinforced with stiffeners along the inside of the strake to prevent any “oil can” effect. Estimated installation time is based on an airplane without supplemental equipment installed in the tail section.
Estimated Installation Time: 60 hours (time to paint not included)
