RAM engineered VG’s are low profile and parallel flow, half the drag of competitive installations. Kit includes VG’s, strakes, layout templates and adhesives. Replacement set of VG’s available at minimum fee, exchange basis, if aircraft is repainted. Credit given for existing RAM VG’s during future RAM engine R.O.I. packages.
- Aircraft Repaint - VG Kit - for existing RAM VG aircraft includes complete VG kit - sold only on exchange basis for return of old RAM VGs removed for painting: $300
- RAM sells Vortex Generators only to those airplanes for which we also have an FAA approved Flight Manual Supplement.
- The installation of RAM VG's is in compliance with RAM and FAA Approved AFM Supplements which will typically require airspeed remarking and the presence of the AFMS in the aircraft.
- All speeds are in Knots Indicated - KIAS.
- RAM's VG Kit includes: VG’s, strakes, layout templates and adhesives.
- Replacement sets of VG’s, templates and adhesive materials are available for a minimum fee, on an exchange basis, for such times as when the aircraft is being repainted. Contact RAM's Parts Sales Department for replacement options.
- Credit will be given for the existing installation of RAM VG’s during the future installation of a RAM OHE Engine Installation R.O.I. Package that included VG's as a part of that Upgrade R.O.I. Package.
