You can own a piston powered twin engine airplane or you can charter one from your local Aircraft Sales, Service, and Flight Training Center (FBO). You can select partners of your choice and purchase a piston twin together. You can fly the airplane yourself, or hire a pilot to fly it.
Piston engine twins obviously aren’t as fast as 500 mph jets, but then do the math. When it’s both simple and affordable, flying at half the speed of a jet, about 250 mph, can still be very effective. It’s especially fast when you are personally deciding when to leave and when to come home. You fly a 300 to 500 mile trip in a couple hours, you do your business, and you come back home the same day. Typically flying in and out of conveniently located, well equipped, local airports near your home and business. Door to door. Privately.
