RAM offers two STCs for increasing the horsepower and performance of Cessna T310s. This 300 horsepower upgrade is fundamental and is a very logical choice at engine change time.
RAM’s STC authorizes substituting the 310’s 285 hp TSIO-520-BB engines with 300 hp TSIO-520-EB engines, the same type 300 hp engines as installed on the larger Cessna 402B. Both engines and STC can be shipped.
Typically owner flown, Cessna 310 seating allows for six people on board, but most likely four business associates will prefer departing with full fuel to enjoy arriving sooner on longer nonstop business trips.
A RAM Series I Cessna T310 can cruise climb to 18,000 feet in19 minutes. After adjusting the altimeter to 29.92 and trimming the airplane, a 75% power cruise setting delivers the speed of 217 ktas. In round numbers that’s 250 mph!

Aircraft Manufacturer's Pilot Operating Handbooks and Aircraft Owner's Manuals should always be available and adhered to by the aircraft Pilot in Command, including attention to applicable FAA approved Flight Manual Supplements and emergency procedures for each individual aircraft.
