- Flat Rate Labor
- Responsible for ground freight within Continental USA
- All RAM overhauled engines come with a TBO warranty and are prorated at 30 hours per month
- Prorata calculation: (Months in service) × 30 = total prorata hours
- Cylinders are warranted by the original equipment manufacturer’s cylinder warranty after the initial coverage period. Continental cylinders are warranted for 24 months from warranty activation date or 1,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first. Superior Millennium cylinders are warranted for 37 months from first operation or recommended engine TBO, whichever occurs first.
When the Continental factory warranty reaches 18 or 24 months, your customer’s warranty is finished. In comparison, RAM stays with you and your customer through TBO. RAM also allows customers to reach TBO more slowly by accruing time at a reduced assumed usage rate of only 30 hours per month.
RAM does not set a limit on return warranty freight allowance. Most significant is RAM’s prorated extended coverage, including parts, labor, troubleshooting, and freight allowance support.
Warranty situations are handled by full-time decision-making managers who are also aircraft mechanics and experienced RAM acceptance pilots. RAM helps troubleshoot and rapidly identify parts while delivering quick, reliable customer support for FBOs and engine installers.
